ロック事業部尾花です
今回は鍵の加工取付の話です
加工取付でもなんでも、もちろん難易度はあります
そのなかでどの難易度でも、自分の中で会心の出来！と思えることがあります
それは、前回取付た時よりも正確に綺麗に！時間短縮できた！前持っての予習が役立った！など色々ありますが
そういう仕事が出来た時やっと自分の成長や達成感など良い感情がグッとわいてきてその日は終始ご機嫌です。
この達成感をみなさんも一緒に味わいましょう！

There certainly be level of difficulty varying from work to work, as with other things. Regardless of the difficulty, occasionally I can feel that I’ve done satisfactory work. The reasons are that I’ve finish the work more accurately and neatly than before, that I’ve complete the work quicker than before, that I’ve made full use of my preparation, and so on. When I’ve done that fine work, I feel happy because of my progress and a feeling of accomplishment. And the feeling of happiness continues throughout the day. ロック事業部では鍵の仕事はもちろん、毎日長時間することといえば運転です
前日ぐっすり寝ていてもくる、突然の睡魔…なんででしょうね？
実際前の日が寝不足な日ももちろんありますが、睡眠時間との比例というわけではなさそうです
正直睡魔には勝てません
10分くらいの仮眠をとるくせをつけてます
みなさんも運転される際は無理せず、車を止めて目を閉じるだけでもいいので定期的な休憩を。

セキュリティ工事新築班の朝は早く、現場近くに有料駐車場があれば助かるのですが、無ければ遠くの駐車場から配線や脚立を持って台車で運搬しないといけないので、とても大変です。
駐車場が近くにあってもすぐに満車になるところは朝から争奪戦です。
今日はギリギリ勝利しました

But if not so, we end up carrying tools such as wires, a stepladder, and so on by using a dolly, and it’s very hard work. それぞれ1回ずつ朝礼を行っています。

最近では、月曜日に
営業支援課の氷見さんによる英語の勉強、王さんによる中国語の勉強が増えました。
お二人とも、ロックの営業の方が海外のお客様に対して対応する際に簡単に使えるフレーズを教えて下さっています。

弊社の事務所を紹介します。
JR環状線福島駅から徒歩五分ほどの場所にあります。
少し珍しいですが、JR環状線の高架線路の真下にあり、二階建てです。
このような立地なので、電車のガタゴト走る音が日に何回も鳴りますが、意外と大して気にはなりません。
一階のパソコンは、事務系の部署の方と社長以外は自由に使います。
逆を言えば、外回りの人は自分用に決まったパソコンはないので、たまに混雑すれば争奪戦になります。
二階は倉庫で、鍵やセキュリティ機器や道具などを置いてます。
毎日和気あいあいとみんな働いています。

Hello, I’m Kawai, member of the lock department. Today I introduce our office. It’s ten-minute walk from Fukushima station, JR train. Our office is two-story and underneath the elevated railway tracks, which is a little bit unusual.
Because of its location, we hear the sound running trains make many times every day, but, surprisingly, it doesn’t bother us not so much.
We have some PCs on the first floor, and the president and the clerks have their own. Sales persons don’t have an individual PC, so sometimes we fight over a PC when the office is crowded.
The second floor is a warehouse, and we store there locks, security devices, some tools, and so on.

鍵の仕事に携わる人を、英語でlocksmithと言います。MLA(Master Locksmiths Association )という団体は、イギリスのlocksmithを代表し、認証する非営利組織です。MLAはイギリスのlocksmithを厳密な検査を経て認証し、MLAのホームページ上で、イギリス国内のlocksmithを検索できるサービスを提供しています。
MLAのホームページにはSecurity Adviceも掲載されています。その中に、一人暮らしをする大学生のための住居の防犯アドバイスがありました。一部、紹介します。
•貴重品(高価なノートパソコン、テレビ、家庭用娯楽機器等を含む)は、ドアや窓から離して置き、見えないようにしておきましょう。そして、不在にする場合は必ず部屋に鍵をかけるようにしましょう。

MLA approves locksmiths through vetting and inspection, and provide locksmiths locator in the United Kingdom on the website.
MLA also has security advice on the website. I introduce a part of the advice, ”Security Advice & Tips For Students In Accommodation”.
•Be sure to keep valuable items out of sight, away from doors or windows, and remember to lock rooms whenever they’re not in.

最近2人の方が入社されました。
とても熱意があり真面目な方々なので、
不器用で要領のわるい私はあっという間に追い抜かされてしまうだろうと危機感を感じてしまいます。
鍵の仕事と言われても、
一般の方は合鍵を作るのだろうというの以外にどんなことをするのかさっぱりわからないと思います。
鍵の交換や取付と言われてもイメージがわかなくて当然です。
私は、幼い頃から鍵屋になりたかった！鍵の仕事をやってみたい！
など思ったことが1ミリもありません。
実際、私もこの会社へ来るまでは全く何もわかりませんでした。
元々鍵への興味は特になかったので、知識も技術もゼロの状態で私は入社しました。
しかし、会社の先輩方が優しく丁寧に教えて下さり、質問すればいつでも快く答えて下さります。

鍵の仕事では、とにかく色んなところへいきます。
私の場合は毎日平均100km強ほど運転します。
大阪にある弊社では、大阪を中心に神戸と京都によく行きます。
割合的には少ないですが、奈良や、たまに滋賀にもいきます。
私は景色を眺めるのが好きなので、滋賀や奈良にいった時にはのどかな風景を眺めたくなります。
滋賀などに行った時は、
休憩がてら少しばかり昼ごはんに牛丼とカツ丼とうどんとサンドイッチとアイスクリームを買って景色を眺めながら食べるのが楽しみだったりします。

We go to so many various places for our work. I drive about 100 kilometers each day on average. Our company being in Osaka, we often go to places in Osaka, Kobe, and Kyoto. Though less frequently, we sometimes go to Nara and Shiga, too.
