鍵は年々進化していて、昔のものに比べると防犯性が飛躍的に上がっているものもあります。
逆を言えば、昔の鍵の中には簡単に侵入されてしまう防犯性が低いものもあります。
実際、ある程度知識のある今考えると、
私が昔住んでいた家の鍵はなかなか脆弱なものでした。
すぐ近所で侵入事件もあったため、
被害にあわなかったのが幸運だったと思います。
一概には言えませんが、10年近くは前からある鍵をお使いだと、
もしかしたら防犯性が低い可能性もあります。
